Indian Navy New Flag/Ensign Design

It's a great honour to design the new Indian Navy Flag/Ensign based on 'Do Away Colonial Past'. Inaugurated by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Through this design we gave tribute to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj (Father of Indian Navy).

The naval ensign until now was the St George's red cross set on a white background, with the national emblem placed at the intersection and the Indian flag in the top left quadrant.

The government chose the final one from around 10 different designs that were presented by the naval headquarters. The suggestions ranged from depicting 11 waves on the flag representing 11 different coastal states to including a sign from the times of the ancient navies of India, news agency ANI reported.
